WATERS LANDING BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The Waters Landing Board of Directors meeting typically meets the third Wednesday of each month. The next Board of Directors meeting will be held May 17, 2017 at 7pm at the Waters Landing Community Center located at 20000 Father Hurley Boulevard. Please check the webpage for the most up to date information.  At the beginning of each meeting is an "open floor" for residents to come and speak with the Board.

 

ARCHITECTURAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE (AERC)

Architectural applications will now be reviewed twice a month.

Any date that falls on a weekend, deadline would be pushed to the following Monday.

Any change or alteration to the exterior of property must be approved through the Architectural and Environmental Review Committee (AERC) process.

Tree removal requires the AERC process.

If you have made any alterations without receiving approval, then an application must be submitted. Failure to submit may result in a violation.

MISS UTILITY should be contacted prior to work to mark any underground utility lines.

NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES

The Association office has received complaints about the following items.

TRASH & RECYCLING

Proper trash disposal prevents garbage debris throughout the neighborhood and inhibits animal and rodent issues!  

Trash collection is Mondays & Thursdays.

Trash should be in containers or dark bags by 7am the morning of pick up or after dark the night before. White bags are prohibited. Animals can get into white trash bags easier, which can lead to trash through the community.

Recycling is collected on Mondays.

Recyclables should be in Montgomery County blue containers or properly bundled and placed out by 7am the morning of pick up or after dark the night before.

Trash bins & recycle containers left on common ground on days other than collection days will be collected by Waters Landing.

NOISY NEIGHBORS?

Montgomery County maintains "quiet hours." Excessive noise during these hours is prohibited.

Offenders should be reported to Montgomery County by calling 311, Noise Control.

Quiet Hours

Weekdays 9pm to 7am

Weekends 9pm to 9am

Holidays 9pm to 9am

Pesky Pets?

Scoop the Poop! Montgomery County's "Pooper Scooper" law requires all pet owners to clean up pet waste. Offenders should be reported to Montgomery County by calling 311, Animal Control.

There are pet stations placed throughout the community.  

Please look for the pet station nearest you to keep your community clean!

 

Montgomery County Issues

Call 311 to get it done!

Montgomery County handles various issues including noise, pets, code enforcement, issues with exposed cable wires, landlord/tenant affairs, permitting services as well as other issues. If you are not sure who or which department to contact, call the Waters Landing office and the Association staff will try to assist you.

 

Street Lights

Street light outages and issues should be reported to Potomac Edison at 1-888-544-4877.  Repairs and maintenance are performed by Potomac Edison.  Waters Landing does not own or maintain street lights.

 

Community Center Rentals

The Waters Landing Community Center located at 20000 Father Hurley Blvd. is available for rent to residents in good standing. The application form must be reviewed and completed prior to renting the facility. The community center can accommodate 75 people.

Condominiums

Waters Landing Association, Inc. is the umbrella association for the following condominium communities. Waters Landing is responsible for the care and maintenance of the common grounds outside of the condominium communities, as well as the care and maintenance of the two pools in which you are a member. For all calls regarding day to day operations including but not limited to trash, building questions, common grounds, snow removal, etc. within your community please contact your condominium management company. Condominium business is conducted at the condominium board of directors meetings. Please contact your condominium management company for specific meeting schedules as meeting dates may change.
